This study documents the first observation of a leucistic Indian Pied Starling (Gracupica contra) in Keonjhar District, Odisha, India. The bird exhibited large white feathers with preserved black soft-part pigmentation (normal eye and bill), consistent with leucism rather than albinism. This represents one of the few reports of leucism in this species from eastern India.
